  • Health Care Connect is a program that will help people without a doctor find one in their community

How can I be seen for an urgent problem after regular office hours?

  • Physicians are available for evening clinic appointment's Monday to Friday from 5:00pm to 7:45 pm by appointment
  • Please call your own Doctor's office for an appointment in the after-hours clinic

How can I cancel or change an appointment with the dietician, social worker, or occupational therapist?

  • Please call your family doctor's office to reschedule your appointment

What are hours of the lab?

  • The lab is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm

Can I have my blood tests done if I am not a patient with the Loyalist Family Health Team?

  • You must be registered patient to use the lab services

What are the hours for nursing services?

  • Nursing services are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and 1:00-4:15 pm
  • You must first arrange nursing care through your doctor's office (immunizations, injections, suture removal...)

Why do I need to bring my medication list or medications to every appointment?

  • Your health team will be able to manage your care best by having the most up-to-date medication list or see the medication that you take

Do I need a referal to see the dietician, social worker, or occupational therapist?

  • Yes. Your doctor will refer you and arrange an appointment as needed

I would like help to quit smoking. What should I do?

  • Contact your family doctor's office and an appointment will be arranged with a smoking cessation councillor

Do I have to sign up for classes or can I just show up?

  • Preregistration for group classes is required 
  • Call your doctor's office to register for classes
